Vampire partners Andrew and Nicholas are left to raise Andrew's half-vampire son Jacob after his mother dies in childbirth. This book charts Jacob's life from birth to aged 17. Andrew also runs a 'Special Enforcer Agency' that is battling the growing demon menace.
